What to buy at Costco when you are Paleo and Gluten Free

I make no bones about the fact that I love Costco. It is my favorite place to buy groceries just because they have a great selection at solid prices, and you don’t have to come back for awhile unless you just really want to.

We buy quite a few of our staples at Costco each month. I try to stock up on things that will last until my next trip, then there are other things that I know will only be good for a single week, so I just get a smaller version of this to use pretty immediately for things like produce. Now, my list does contain some things that aren’t hardcore paleo, but all are gluten free and skirting the edges of paleo. I keep a spreadsheet from my trips so I can see where the money went, if prices have changed, and can compare prices against other stores if i’m out to see if it is a good deal using a Google Spreadsheet that I can get to on my phone if I need to. I know, ridiculous, but if you are trying to save money, you have to keep up with the best prices.

Now, those are the items that I actually have bought. I have seen a lot of other posts with good prices on things like grassfed beef and chicken, but we have a good supplier that is local that we buy from, so we skip that if we can.

So, if you are paleo and want to save money, this may be a good option for you, especially if you can get a half off deal from one of the groupon type sites once a year.
